Engage Calendar Integration

KASE Technologies offer Marathon, a comprehensive business system (ERP) with powerful features to manage most things in finance, projects and media. One of the user facing applications include Engage, a application based on web technologies that provides a user-friendly interface to access and interact with the data in Marathon. To improve the user experience and provide additional functionality, KASE Technologies offer an optional calendar integration feature that allows users to automatically synchronize their calendar data with Marathon Engage.

Terms of Service

The Terms of Service stipulated in your individual customer agreements apply to the product as a whole. For the specific terms for the calendar integration, please refer to the section below.

Calendar Integration Terms

The calendar integration is a free optional feature of the Marathon Engage product that can be set up by each individual user. By using the calendar integration, you agree to the following terms.

  1. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary permissions to access and use the calendar data that you choose to integrate with Marathon.
  2. KASE Technologies is not liable for any issues arising from the use of the calendar integration, including but not limited to missing calendar entries, synchronization errors, or unauthorized access to calendar metadata.
  3. KASE Technologies reserves the right to at any time modify, or discontinue the calendar integration feature given prior notice.
  4. By using the calendar integration, you acknowledge that KASE Technologies may collect and process calendar data for the purpose of providing and improving the integration, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  5. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the calendar integration complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
  6. KASE Technologies may update these terms from time to time, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically. Continued use of the calendar integration after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
  7. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the optional calendar integration feature.

Privacy Policy

The use of the calendar integration feature is subject to the terms outlined in our general Privacy Policy and in your individual customer agreements. This section outlines the specific terms related to the calendar integration feature, in addition to the general terms outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using the calendar integration, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of your calendar data as described in this section and in our general Privacy Policy.

Calendar Integration Data Collection and Use

When you use the calendar integration feature, we may collect certain information from your calendar data, including but not limited to event titles, dates, times, locations, and descriptions. This information is used solely for the purpose of providing and improving the calendar integration feature and is not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.

Confidentiality of Events

If the calendar and/or event data contains sensitive or confidential information, you are responsible for ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to protect this information. KASE Technologies will treat all calendar data with reasonable confidentiality and has implemented security measures to attempt to protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure.

In the cases where the calendar service support marking events as confidential, KASE Technologies will not store details of these events and will only use the metadata necessary to minimally provide the calendar integration functionality for these events.

Data Retention

We retain calendar data for as long as necessary to provide the calendar integration feature and to comply with our legal obligations. If you choose to disable or disconnect the calendar integration, we will delete your calendar data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
